The coffee was nice, but the place is long over due an overhaul these days, all the chairs are tatty and cheap greasy spoon table cloths on. DJ kit shoved in the corner etc.I understand that a pub in the town has to cater for all times, but it's how well you cater for all times and how it looks in the day light is very important. The locals seem to love it and drink from open to close I'm sure, but as a visitor to the town, I would see it as definitely the bottom end of the scale and it puts me off trying the menu I'm afraid.

Visted Tiverton today and found and enjoyed a drink and meal at the bank. They were happy to put tables together to seat 7 persons and to serve cooked lunches at 2.30pm. Had the most tasty lamb shank, mustard mash & peas at a price so cheap if I told you what it was there would be no lambs left in Devon. Drinks and food excellent value for money. Service with a smile. I would strongly recommend!

They have a back room where we occasionally hold meetings and a patio area undercover but outside for smokers to go as well as the main pub area, meals are served here and the is karaoke every Friday evening

Went to Tiverton after many years to a family funeral and landed in The Bank after for a few drinks. As a family we had a brilliant time and were made very welcome. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our Friday night after a day of such sadness. Highly recommend The Bank.

Don't understand why the bank is so empty midweek nights it's absolutely wonderful the food is fantastic and not overpriced and you can sit In the beer garden (which is mostly undercover) for a drink and a smoke unlike whetherspoons!
