Great traditional english pub great food lovely atmosphere would definitely stay again

Fantastic two night stay. Room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Pub was very busy but made to feel welcome. Host and bar staff very helpful and really friendly. Enjoyed the whole experience and can't wait to book again. Dougal was charming too xx

Absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful stay. The landlady was extremely helpful, accomodating and just lovely. Rooms are really nice and comfy with a big bathrooms. Pub is cosy, has this warm rustic feeling with everyone being really friendly. We are not from Devon but felt welcomed. Located in a quiet village surrounded by a beautiful countryside. Food is stunning! My steak was to die for and breakfast was cooked to perfection with all local organic products.We are definitely coming back

Small country pub with plenty of parking. Visited for Sunday lunch carvery and wasn't disappointed. Choice of 3 meats and a huge selection of vegetables for only £12. Definitely worth another visit. Not many tables so best to book ahead.

Party of 4 adults plus 3 dogs made very welcome here even though we were visiting the area. Good value food and lots of it. Well cooked, tasty, and filling. Couldn't have hoped for better. Definitely on our return list.

Second stay this for 3 days and it was amazing. They are so welcoming and friendly. When we had an evening picnic of our own they brought out plates cutlery glasses even lights for us although it was there night off. If your looking for a home from home with your four legged friend this is the place. Thanks again for making our break so relaxing.
