Burnt curry and onion bahjee, poor customer service!

Absolutely too notch food again here. New menu with some specials on the front page. Four of us shared four of them and they were terrific. Service spot on again too. You won't regret a visit here.

Used Uber eats to order food, the app gave my location and it said they would deliver. I ordered at 1700 selecting for it to be delivered between 2000-2030 only for me to ring them at 2045 asking where it was be told I’d not given them the post code. I tried to explain that I’d used the app and that had given my location, he wasn’t interested and when I confirmed my postcode he said that I’d have to pay a further £3.50 yet my food hadn’t even been made and was late already..

The food we got was good, but the service after the main course was rubbish, we were given the dessert menus but when the waiter came over 35 minutes later we'd run out of time so had to pay and run because we were then late for the comedy gig we were going to. Would like to have had desserts but in the 90 minutes we were there only got 1 course. Even paying was an issue because the waiter kept running over to answer the phone.

Just ordered from them and the food came but was disgusting! The naans were burnt, the butter chicken tasted gross and was extremely watery. When we called the restaurant stating how unhappy we were they would only offer a 20% discount and refused to refund the order. We were told that the naans burnt because they were put in a bag for delivery, the butter chicken was watery because it was put in a box for delivery, and then shouted at and told that he doesn’t care because he’s got enough customers. I was called a liar and laughed at for my phone call and desire for a refund. Absolutely shocking customer service!!If I could put minus stars I would.

Disgusting customer service, horrible food. When you complain you’re told it doesn’t matter because no-one else ever complains and they have enough customers!

Absolutely Disgusting by far the worst take away Indian curry I've ever tasted my 11yrs old Niece could do a much nicer curry don't waste your Hunger waiting to de disappointed save your money 🤮🤢

Really top notch food and great service, we came early and had the place to ourselves. Restaurant itself is beautiful and flawlessly clean. Couldn’t recommend more

This restaurant is now trading under the name The Mumbai Kitchen which is located next door at 48 Bampton Street. Takeaway orders are still available through The Ganges website and the telephone number remains the same, but the location has changed. However, when we finally found the location to collect our order the food was delicious, great sized portions and good service so highly recommend!

Service was very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of items on the menu, all the classics. The food was tasty and the portions was a decent size. Worth a try for sure.
