Absolutely brilliant. Son and wife treated me and husband to a delicious breakfast. Served immediately by friendly efficient staff. Couldn't fault it. Thank you. A real treat!

Another nice visit to a Spoons. It was busy after the Christmas lights switch on ceremony but service was good and the atmosphere had a nice family buzz.

Nice Spoons located on the High St.Don't know if it was a converted hotel or bank, most probably the former as there are lots of seating areas on different levels.We went during the beer festival so there was a few more ales to go at than usual.The staff were super friendly and gave us lots of tips on buses and trains to explore the area.

Poor in general, lovely building and SOME good staff. Told the the bar was closed by one individual only to then witness her serving another gentleman, if that wasn't bad enough another patron asked if the bar was closed, she replied "only to them" while gesturing towards our table. Whilst we finished the drinks many others where served. Cocktails we ordered where below average, asked if I could change mine for something else but was told if there's nothing wrong with it you have to deal with it.A quiet Thursday night, just a couple on holiday trying to enjoy a few drinks on a rare child free night

Very poor service, mediocre food and no atmosphere. We were told there were three ways to order, an app (which I'm not going to download for one visit) scan the qr code (no mobile network) or order at table. The lady serving was very nice but there were hardly and staff, so it took far longer than reasonable. The steak was grisly and somewhat overcooked. Only visit if no other alternative is available.

Nice place, tables are a little greasy but what can you expect from wetherspoons. Friendly staff, fast service and a nice environment.
