Lovely pub superb food. Very good service. Nice beer. What more could you need in the perfect pub. Oh and it's family friendly and accepts dogs.......

Delicious Sunday roast with the family. Food was perfect and they serve honeycomb ice cream so what's not to.like !

Very lovely pub. Beautifully presented food and delicious too. Friendly landlords and very welcoming. Although we went on a quiet Thursday afternoon, definitely got a good feel for the place. Traditional English pub, or what my husband and I call 'ye olde worlde' style place, but clean and fresh. Ladies toilets were very nice too. Couldn't really fault anything about it. Thank you for your hospitality!

A really lovely little pub with great service, lovely food and a wonderful atmosphere. I came with both my parents and we enjoyed the stop off for some food and a pint next to a warm fire. Highly recommend this clean well presented pub for some good grub.

Outstanding! The service, the decor, the food. Pub grub done right. Massive portions. You'll be like omg I can't finish this but you'll make yourself because it is so yum and you'll have no regrets.

Ate here last year 5/2/21, first off food was really nice, thoroughly enjoyed it! I found the staff quite rude and abrupt. Sadly not wanting to revisit now.EDIT: Just read your reply, and I have seen the date I have put, which was meant to be the 5/12/21. And no, I’m not someone with an axe to grind. I’m writing my review and opinion on The Rose and Crown in Calverleigh, Tiverton. You clearly don’t seem to take criticism well.

We found this place for a lunch stop on the way home from our camping trip in Devon as we wanted a dog 🐕 friendly pub. We hadn't booked in advance, but they found us and our well behaved dog a table 👍. The staff were very friendly and chatty, our lunch was awesome, and they also had dog treats on the bar for our little man. Cheers and thank you for your hospitality!! 🍻🥪🥪

We had a superb Sunday lunch there today .The food was beautifully cooked ,Roast potatoes to die for ,crackling ,stuffing ,Roast pork apple sauce and Chicken.Yorkshire pudding light and crisp .Veg not over cooked and plentiful.Gravy in a gravy boat on table .Service prompt Hosts chatty and happy .Puddings home cooked and gorgeous ,custard plentiful and price reasonable for the quality meal.Thoroughly recommend

Lovely little stop just off the M5 near Tiverton. Peaceful, dog friendly, venue surrounded by paddocks and panoramic views over hillsides. Great food and a cosy fire. The Landlords are lovely, really friendly and inviting. Decent prices. Clean toilets and parking for approx. 10 cars. Good disabled access to the rear. Perfect, relaxing spot to break up a journey heading north or south along the M5. I look forward to my next trip!
