Great place to visit and have a drink or a meal.

Wow, the lady that runs this pub cooks the food. It's amazing! We met our friends here for Sunday roast. Great selection of ales (there was THREE on, it's a small pub) and the atmosphere is lovely. Fire was lit and the roast was wonderful, I had beef my wife, pork. Excellent, will always come back here.

Fantastic food. We had 2 meals there over the last week. The portions are massive so make sure you go there hungry.

Lovely place, excellent food, helpful staff....all really good. Only downside was the 'roads' leading to it from our direction (via Venn Cross') Will definitely be back but will try & find a route involving more Tarmac & less goat track!

Friendly and cosy. The roast pork I had was outstanding and the other choices were so tempting! My personal yardstick for restaurants is the quality of the roast potatoes the kitchen produces and in this instance they were absolutely wonderful. 10 out of 10 easily!

This is a great village inn with a wonderful menu. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the inn. It's in a rural area so a sat nav is essential

After several visits to this lovely country pub, the beer and food has been consistently good, the staff are always pleasant, and the surroundings are great!The food is good value, tasty, and has generous portions.My only criticism would be that the lighting inside is a bit dark.Highly recommended though for both eating and a casual drink! Will definitely be going back there when I'm in that part of the country again.

Staying at nearby Quarry Hockford Cottages & decided after reading good reviews to come here for tea, phoned to book a table as advised. Staff very friendly, lovely, fresh homemade food, generous portions. Would definitely recommend & come back if ever in the area again.
