The White Ball Inn in Mid Devon

Good for a drink, went quite late after they stopped serving food. But was handy to order on the app. Was a nice evening so sat outside as was heaving indoors.

Lovely setting by the River with a large beer garden and terrace.Unfortunately our party was asked to leave because we had a small Jack Russell??The fat specky member of staff said we could tie the dog up and leave on the car park?Unbelievable.

Nice food, not too expensive. Nice area outside for kids, sadly not any play area of any sort thoughm

Decent spoons in a small town, bit backwards and a few legless weirdos roaming around but hey. This is Devon. Cool feature of an old well in the floor with a glass covering over it. Next to the river too

Food was not hot,pasta alforno was a very small portion more like a child portion, garlic bread pizza was uncooked and sent back.refund given without problem,staff were polite

A particularly good Witherspoons... crazily cheap beer and food. The fire is welcoming and the service is usually excellent. The toilets are always clean and this one is spacious and weirdly pleasant to use !

Very polite service on a busy Friday night. Lovely food to. Easy to get parking right next to the building as there is a pay and display carpark

Nice atmosphere and ambience. Good quality food, served hot and quickly. Excellent price for what you get. On tap there is a good selection for cheap prices.

We met family at the White Ball Inn. It was nice to try the new chicken menu chargrilled half chicken served with lemon and herb coating or a spicy one with rice or chips, coleslaw and sauce. We had 5 meals with guest ales included, all for £43None of us could fault it, such good value.Good mid week lunchtime meal that everyone can afford.

Very satisfying.Superb meals! Especially the Thursday's curry. Friendly atmosphere , frequented by the local community mainly.Very good selection of beers including crafted ones from local breweries.And 70 kinds of ciders, of course.
