New starter selection is very poor (where's the Bao Buns, the Sliders, the Bang Bang Cauliflower?). Prices have ramped up considerably. Very lack-lusture service.The Steak and Horseradish Pancakes were awesome as usual though.

What a sophisticated, classy, relaxed and all around amazing bar this is. We enjoyed five delicious cocktails at this bar after searching for the perfect cocktail bar. This one definitely ticked all the boxes. Great service by Ian, who was knowledgable, welcoming and gave us a great experience. Even better when using the Club 62 card on weekdays! Will return all the way to Barnstaple from the Midlands just to visit this venue again. 5 stars without hesitation.

Visited whilst staying in illfracombe.The bar is amazing and food looked great however I only had drinks.All served by a bar man who knew what he was doing and was really friendly and easy to get on with. All the staff were very professional and provided great service throughout the night. Big shout out to Ian on the bar who, made the night a great one going above and beyond with his great service and exceptional drinks.

Fantastic food and service as ever. Very busy Saturday night, but the staff were still excellent. Food was delicious and worth every penny. Our group had a cocktail tree and these were great too.

We had a great meal here on Sunday night! The food was amazing and great value for money. Service was quick, really friendly and we loved the Christmas decorations.

The food was very good, and well presented. The table service was friendly, and very courteous. However, as a fairly large group of people, we were crammed into the back room, where the entrances to the toilets are. There was a steady stream of people walking through our tables all evening, and not one of these people had masks on, as the government's advice currently asks.

Lovely food with First Class service in a beautiful old building with a great atmosphere. Had an amazing Christmas Day lunch. Many thanks and kind regards Mark B.

The food was below average and expensive,we asked 4 different people for a drinks order and none responded saying someone else would be along to do it (even approaching The bar we were told we had to order at our table) No one came back even to ask how the food was and when we were billed they failed to deduct the £40 we were made to pay on booking, once they had our food order they were not bothered even when we made our dissatisfaction known when paying they just shrugged it off. Will not be returning!

Had an amazing night out! My friend decided to take me out for dinner and drinks on my last day in Barnsatble and what a lovely experience. Great food cutest cocktails. This Canadain says A+ service, atmosphere and food... 20+ years as a chef myself .... love this place

WOW!!! Amazing food, service, cocktails and interior!! Absolutely loved this place and trying to find every excuse to go back!!Every dish was beautifully presented, large portions, so great value for money and ever so tasty with a touch of class!The cocktails were incredible and the staff were so helpful and friendly, helping us choose the best ones!The decor was lovely with spectacular ceilings. Everything with clean and covid safe.We haven't found anything as good since!!!
