Amazing food with great staff.

·

Amazing food & overall experience. The staff were brilliant & I will be visiting again next week! Food was also cracking. Thank you all! Our dog was also very impressed!

·

Amazing roast. Bit of a mix up but staff couldn't have been more apologetic and the roast dinner was more than worth waiting for. Will definitely go again!

·

Called In without booking on our way home. Friendly staff quality food. Looks like a popular local too. Would visit again. Thank you.

If they could transport themselves to Braunton, I'd give them 6 stars. As it is, I will have to drive and not drink. Great Sunday lunches - not your run of the mill soggy old pub fare - this is restaurant quality. Lovely village pub with great atmosphere... and worth the drive!

Lovely, interesting old pub, serving decent beer and excellent food. Sunday lunch was terrific. Make sure you leave space for the massive deserts! Service very pleasant and efficient too.

7 adults and 1 child. Just had a meal and I would highly recommend. Easy parking. The bar staff were fantastic. The waitress was lovely. The food was delicious. The pub was quirky with friend locals and an oddly sloping floor. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Came for a birthday meal with 14 of us. Food was timely, well presented and surprisingly generous. This is what i'd style as decent pub grub, nothing pretentious about the menu. Simple, effective and tasty.

Booked a table over the web . Arrived to be told they were only doing roast dinners. Not a good start , Waited nearly an hour for food to arrive .went for the nut roast . Yes NUT ROAST. It was a vegan burger from bookers. Rest of the roast was overcooked. Potatoes rock hard. No attempt at any distancing over covid no ventilation either . Food from previous diners on floor beneath our feet. Sorry guys 1 out of 5 .

Had a roast last Sunday here. Had to book, they get so busy in there so do make sure you book. Plenty of things on the menu. Plenty on your plate. Reasonable price for a village pub. Pretty interior. Staff are very pleasant. Worth a trip if your nearby.
