Really tasty, good portions. Highly recommended!

·

One star for the fish. The chips looked and tasted like leftovers from the night before. The price is too high. £22.25 for fish and chips twice plus curry sauce. Rip off.

·

Worst chip shop I been so far. Very expensive. Don't bother going to this place.

Yummy fish and chips, served with a smile

Order 3 small cheesy chips and a medium chips tonight and had to wait over 15 minutes for it, outside in the cold. Staff were chatting to each other and just standing around. They had forgotten our order and even served people before us even though we ordered 5 minutes before them. Again both orders were walk in and would take 3 minutes to complete. Portion sizes weren't great either. Over all not great service and won't be visiting again.

I think this place and the welcome friar are in competition with each to win the worst chippy award in south molton. Both are overpriced, and both serve tasteless horrible food. Welcome friar is very slightly better as the portions of tasteless food is greater than chip and fin's baby portions. If you're in town and hungry, dont bother with these two establishments.

Popped in because we happened to be in South Molton at lunch time. The best chips I've had in a long time, decent portions, and very generous with the cheese.Chip and Fin, will now be going on the elite and very short list of 'detour worthy' places to eat.

The best cooked chips in the whole area. Very consistent each time I've eaten from here. Finish my daily delivery job in South Molton every Thursday so I pop in here for double sausage n chips. By far the best and great value. Good size portions too. Highly recommended.

Great chips and the fish batter is very nice. Not at all greasy and just the right amount. Great value with huge portions, result 🙂

The cod was horrendous! It was square which was obviously frozen and fried the batter was like sludge and the chips had been cooked two or three timesThe curry sauce was cold and the mushy peas came out on the plate moulded the same as the pot. I definitely will not eating from there ever again!!!
