Overpriced and tasteless. £10 for two small pieces of rubbery squid, two prawns, two tiny (10p sized) bits of cod and seven cold chips. Service lovely, but go to any of the other places in Ilfracombe and have an actual meal.

Popped in for a coffee today, but ended up getting fish and chips as well. Batter was really light and tasty. Staff were very attentive and looked after us whilst we were there. I can imagine it being very busy in the summer.

Lovely cod and chips and huge portions. We were glad we only ordered the small cod and chips, as it was more like a large portion. The waitress was friendly and helpful too. We will go there again and would recommend it to others. Nice view of the harbour too.

Absolutely love The Dolphin! Been there many times each year! Every time we come to Ilfracombe, in fact! Food is consistently 10/10. Service is 10/10. Whole thing is fab! Dog friendly, they take bookings and cannot fault the place, highly recommend. Takeaway as well!😍

Decent gluten free menu with several gluten free choices including this crispy gluten free cod and chips. Very covid safe and clean. Friendly staff. Good views of the harbour. Takeaway and restaurant.

Lovely little sit down fish and chips with a cup of tea after a cold boat trip! Fish was really good! The server was lovely too and service was quick.

Lovely chippy on the harbour with lovely views. Nice fresh fish, decent portion. Enjoyable meal, friendly staff- social distancing adhered to. Reasonably priced when considering the location.

Great place overlooking the harbour. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food was fab and for a fair price. We visited twice in our week away.

Lovely fish and chip shop. Take away and eat in. They cater for gluten free ,which is essential for my wife. We went just after the lockdown lifted for restaurant's and the staff were on the ball with all the new procedures. Sanitised tables and chairs between customers which was good to see. The food was lovely.
