Hele Corn Mill and Tea Room in North Devon

Lovely little place - park up on the road not down the little track bit.Very friendly host, great with the kids too and superb cakes and scones! Oh and sandwiches too!Mill is very interesting wonder around as well

Lovely tearoom, had a very pleasant drink and snack sat outside. Well worth following the signs to find your way in.

A very friendly place, full of personal touches to make you feel incredibly welcome. Great cakes made with flour from the mill and an interesting and informative tour.

Fabulous food, friendly staff An oasis of calm and shade. Popped in and had coffee and sandwiches, took cake away. Came back next day for afternoon tea. Well worth a visit access to the mill is free too.

Interesting venue at Hele, with outdoor, covered seating. Treated cousins and myself to Afternoon Tea, which was delicious. Good to be able to choose your favourite fillings, scones and cakes. Plenty of tea for 3 people, though it wasn't the best tea in the world! Pleasant service and quite reasonable prices at £11.50 per head. Recommend a visit.

Absolutely Fabulous Cream Teas in a beautiful setting. We loved looking around the mill and gardens after enjoying wonderful freshly baked scones. Good selection of sandwiches also made to order. This is something special, not the usual factory produced offering for tourists. Our boys enjoyed learning about the mill and the interactive exhibits.

We called for a take away cream tea after reading the reviews online - and we were not disappointed! Arguably the best scones in Devon. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. Great to take in the history and have a look around the Mill as well whilst visiting!

Fantastic teas in a fantastic location. Staff were lovely.I feel that I played this place down. We went here a year ago now and they set the bench mark very high for scones and cake. Took us a year to find anywhere to match and that was in South Devon. Of course this year has been difficult for everyone so I truly hope that David and Kathy can see their way through this year, otherwise they will have to set up an online delivery service!!!

Been here twice now very fresh well worth the money compared to other afternoon teas in some places I've bern in north Devon, , Everything is fresh and homemade.Staff are lovely.Worth visiting the old corn mill on open days check there website.They take credit cards now ..Park in Hele car park for a hour to all day at £1.70 cross over the main road it's down a path pass a few houses , there is no parking but you can drop off and go..Easy access for anyone who can't walk far and down stair the toilet are.Very dog friendly too..We sat out side everytime enjoying the gardens there..Maybe squeeze one more visit in before me leave this stunning part of North Devon.And the beach is dog friendly so a nice day out with the family.. enjoy..

Absolutely lovely tearoom with a lot of history. Food was absolutely gorgeous and the owners were very friendly and helped make a 30th birthday celebration special. The kids loved exploring the garden and visiting the mill. Would definitely come back again as we are regular visitors to the Ilfracombe area.
