Ilfracombe Tandoori in North Devon

Just had 2 curry's, mushroom rice which they said it was big enough for 2 but it isn't, naans and massive pops. Really nice food

We were staying in Ilfracombe with friends for a few days and looking for a nice Indian restaurant. All of us were so impressed with everything about Tandoori Nights - amazing food, very friendly, lovely wines, nice decor, reasonably priced and even a drink on the house. We enjoyed it so much, we went back for New Year's Eve and it was equally excellent. Highly recommended.

Great place to eat, food is great. Portion sizes, you don't need a starter & a main! Unless you are mega hungry, staff were really friendly & welcoming

Amazing Indian resturant that I would highly recommend. There was a bit of a wait for our table as they were insanely busy, I would advise booking before hand as they were completely booked out. But once we were sat down the staff were lovely and attentive.Vegetarian food wise there wasnt a huge selection but we ordered Paneer Passanda which actually wasnt on the menu and they were happy to make it. Food took a little while to arrive and did arrive cold, but we informed the staff and they immediatly offered to make it new. We simple asked for it to be heated slightly and they did so immediatly. Once warm, the food tasted amazing and was definitly worth it. They were obviously super busy and swept off their feet so I dont blame them for any of the problems, all of which they rectified instantly.Would definitly go again.

Our first visit to this restaurant and we were well impressedPlenty of choice on menu and all our food was excellent, and the service was spot onCouple of improvement points - reduce the spice level on the fish dishes and be a little slower on service. We didn't feel rushed but the next course was ready as soon as we had finished the starter, so maybe a little more time between courses would be goodI feel as though I am just being picky, as we really enjoyed our first visit and intend to make it a regular night out

One of best curry's iv ever had tasty authentic a large range of specialities and all sides wer bang on would highly recommend polite staff great service me and the family all enjoyed it

Nice curry hear. I went with a friend and both enjoyed our curry. Lots of choice on the menu , drinks reasonably priced. Pool of allergens are well catered for as menu clearly explains what item contains what. Decor is a little dated but overall a good meal out. Would recommend

Restaurant is bigger than it looks from outside. Decor is very average. Everything tastes nice and has flavour. Some dishes are quite spicy, which is refreshing considering most indian restaurants can make their curries too sweet. The prawn and chicken curries didn't skimp on the protein on offer (See pics). Naan was very heavy and oily. Desserts were very limited .Update after 24h: Following the visit my wife and I did suffer food poisoning. This is very unfortunate and I have reduced the stars by 2.
