Pizza Hut in North Devon

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our recent visit. We had a table booked for 6pm, we ordered around 6.30pm and waited for over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. It was very clear that they were prioritising takeaway over the restaurant. When our food arrived, it was fine (nothing to rave about though, considering the cost of it).Then, once our overly hungry, screaming kids had eaten and one adult was yet to finish her food, a waiter came and began to clear our table. Extremely rude, as he was expecting her to pass him things before she had even finished.The salad bar was pitiful, the amount of selection just appears to get less and less - no wonder it’s now free. And as for the Ice cream bar, disgusting! Clearly being used by many, many people. Yet not once did I see a member of staff wipe anything down. Sprinkles galore and ice cream everywhere. Absolutely disgusted by it if I’m honest. Considering staff now can’t take your order at the table, because of Covid, you’d at least expect there to be a good level of hygiene throughout the restaurant. But clearly your concern is for your staff and not customers.And lastly, the toilets. Which we used several times, due to having several small kids. We were there for over 2 hours and they just got more and more disgusting every time we went in. Are they cleaned at all during an evening service?So overall, to say we were disappointed would be an understatement!And I imagine you’ll be wondering my why this feedback wasn’t bought up to the restaurant at the time? Firstly, we were all starving by the time our food arrived, so just wanted to eat and get out of there! And secondly, I don’t feel as though you deserved the chance to try and rectify things on the night, as that’s clearly how service would usually run.

Rebecca was an amazing waiter and she deserves a pay rise!!! lovely food and was an amazing experience , we came for a birthday and she was amazing!!

We wanted to take this opportunity to say how absolutely delighted we were with the recent service we received at Pizza Hut Barnstaple for our daughters 5th Birthday Party. Being in a large family group with 5 young children and 7 adults, we were happy to get a good table that suited us and allowed plenty of space for my entire family to sit together on this special occasion.We were welcomed and greeted by such a friendly and enthusiastic member of your team called Olivia Vincent. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she was ever so attentive to all of our needs. With grandparents, ensuring they felt comfortable and warm, the kids entertained with colouring books and her entertaining manner and of course ourselves, who had not only received the best ever service from a Pizza Hut restaurant (vs London, Bristol and Essex) BUT the food was absolutely delicious and fresh! - (a big thanks and HATS OFF to Jacob in the kitchen!)We all felt that Olivia Vincent displayed great managerial skills as she managed customers within the restaurant, the flow of the food from the kitchen whilst taking orders/requests and ensuring everyone had a smile on their face. Now that we have been spoilt, we will ensure our friends and family also get the chance to experience this great service from your Barnstaple Branch, just wish there was a way you can copy n' paste Olivia into each of your restaurants across the UK!Thank you to Olivia & Jacob for making that evening truly memorable and extra special!

9 of us dined here tonight and it was awesome. Food was great and our server Troy was so friendly welcoming and just an all round nice guy

Disappointing visit! Booked a table in advance, had to wait ages to be seated!! Food was incredibly pricey for what it was. Hardly any toppings on the pizza, salad bar was a mess and they didn't label any of the sources. Most sources were empty to!! Chips are £3.99 for the smallest portion!! Which i thought was absolutely ridiculous! Self-service ice cream was incredibly dirty and didn't look as though it had been cleaned all day. We're very reluctant to return.

Having been a manager and star trainer at Pizza Hut in a previous Life I know there are certain standards to adhere too.Waited nearly 5 minutes to be seated, there was no pizzas on the buffet for at least 20 minutes. No times indicated on the buffet pizzas (there’s normally a 20 minute maximum). No labels on pizza.Witnessed servers not warning customers about the hot pans. It’s like there’s no basic service training hereBlonde girl working in the kitchen had no hat or hair covering, and kept constantly scratching her head without washing her hands.Do not eat here.

A really great experience. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and the food was well cooked and great quality. Highly recommended.

I particularly enjoyed the new vegetarian hot chilli pizza
