My husband (and dogs) dined and stayed overnight and the service, the welcome, the atmosphere, the staff, the room and the food were all exceptional. Thanks for having us!

Great meal, very nicely cooked with lots of flavour flourishes and little surprises. Nice ambience too, and very polite young serving staff. A perfect venue for my mum's birthday mel

We visited excited by the look of the Exmoor Food Fest menu. We enjoyed great food and a wonderful service. Three excellent courses for £30.

Lovely pub, in a tiny hamlet tucked in the rolling North Devon countryside. The food is renowned and selection is very good, in the summer there is a garden and winter a large fire. The pub has won many awards for food. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! I dined alone and was given a lovely table tucked away so I felt very snug, and I wasn’t rushed at all - the service was super. The food was perfect, a delicious starter and an excellent roast (beef served rare as it should be but seems to be… rare(!). Can’t wait to visit again.

Had a very nice Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Very good portions. Staff were lovely especially the young lad who only works on Sunday. He was absolutely brilliant.

We tried to eat at the Pyne Arms when we visited Devon last year. However, they were fully booked for the duration of our stay. Consequently, we made sure we booked on our visit this year and were not disappointed. We were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table. The service was friendly and efficient and, although the menus asked everyone for their patience and understanding as they were short staffed. There was no evidence of this, as there were no uncomfortably long delays in ordering and receiving our food and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The ambience in the restaurant was also lovely. There is a good sized car parking area adjacent. However, I feel I should warn those who don't like driving on narrow lanes, that the road leading to the pub (once you turn off the main road), is a single track lane. Be prepared to have to back up if you meet any vehicles driving in the opposite direction. Please don't let this deter you though as the Pyne Arms.is really well worth the visit.
