Beautiful location.Good place for a meal that won't excite you but won't disappoint, at not a bad price with a lovely view. Service was fast and efficient, but I think a re train on the servers would be a good idea. basic things like not putting ice into my drink and not taking our plates from the table etc...Me and my family had a nice evening.

We stopped here for a cream tea mid afternoon, there were only 2 other tables occupied and we waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. When we did get served, the cream tea we had was very disappointing. The scone was chewy (I assume they have been frozen). The building has so much potential, but it feels very dated and actually a bit dirty, the toilets are in a terrible state and need some TLC and repair.Lovely setting and the service, although slow, very pleasant.

Arrived at the restaurant, staff seemed like they couldn't be bothered with the basics of customer service. Told to take a menu and take a seat, waitress would come and take our orders(there were only two other customers. This was not a busy evening). Waited and waited for an hour. The chef and the waitress came out, sat on a sofa playing with their phone and reading a book. Needless to say we decided to settle the bill of our two bottles of drink and leave. Terrible! I can honestly say its the worst restaurant service I have ever experiencedAvoid.

Just had a wonderful Devon cream tea which is the last of five meals my wife and I have had here during the last two weeks. It was prepared and presented with the same attention to detail, which all the meals in this restaurant are served. I cannot praise it enough.

Awful. Two slices of thin packet ham, two tiny cold fried eggs, and about a dozen oven chips, at a cost of £8.95 each. One of us had a tiny sliver of "homemade" banoffi pie, for which £5.50 was charged! Never again! Chunky chips??? I'd hate to see thin ones then!

This is our second stay at Hidden Valley caravan site and the new premier pitch is amazing. Lakeside Restaurant menu is first class. (There is also a doggy restaurant to take your best friends with you!) Excellent service and friendly staff.

This restaurant is popular with both local residents and campers alike. The setting and decor is great, the service is excellent and the food, well 5 stars speaks for itself. Relaxed and informal you can sit back and throughly enjoy the experience.
