Lovely quiet restaurant though all tables were booked. Meant conversation could be heard easily over the music and general chatter. Good covid precautions. The food was so scrummy and well proportioned. Wish I'd had a starter too!!Parked around the back of the restaurant. Steps within so not especially wheelchair friendly.Went for a friends 30th and it was really special. Would recommend the lamb and guinea fowl dishes especially.

A wonderful little gem of a restaurant located on Fore Street. I had the most superb sea bass for my main. It was cooked to perfect in that it was so tender. The samphire, light sauce & shell fish complimented beautifully.

What a fantastic little restaurant. Limited capacity and concise menu, but its none the worse for it. The food is nothing short of outstanding for the price they charge. If they were to sell their chips wrapped in newspaper out of the door there would be a queue right down the street and riund the harbour. Each of the dishes we tried were well portioned and cooked perfectly. If you can get a booking you will not be dissapointed. Well done to everyone that works there. The place is a true gem.

Above a beyond expectations! We had a lovely meal with great service. The venue was safely social distance without compromising on atmosphere and the food was great. We had the croquettes (highly recommend), mussels, pork belly, steak, cheese and creme bruleé all of which was delicious! Would recommend, lovely spot! Excellent!

We read the reviews and expected a really great evening, service was luke warm, no real greeting, nonattentative especially during the main course, we were not asked if the meal was OK or not, the waitress was pre- occupied with 2 other guests where she spent a lot of time, she appeared to know them. The meal was OK, I had hake with a cream mild curry sauce, this was hardly warm and the fish had been waiting for the steak my husband had ordered so quite disappointjng. The decor needed some attention and was bland and uninspiring but nice spot near to the harbour, this place needs a make over.We did not tip and the waitress did not ask us if everything was OK we left earlier than we normally would. We thought the quality of food quite good but generally overall disappointed after reading positive reviews.

We had a meal here for our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in Ilfracombe, it's tucked away along Fore Street, a lovely intimate bistro to dine in for a special occasion, the food was fabulous so tasty & well presented, very good service, nice ambience and according to my hubbie the cheese board he'd ever had - make sure you book in advance as it's very popular!

Very good restaurant. Food is well prepared, rack of lamb was a treat the sea bass was cooked really well too.Accommodated children really nicely offering mini versions of the adult equivalent. Nice selection of local drinks.Worth the trip out, will recommend!
