South Sixteen Fish "n" Chip & Pizza Takeaway & Restaurant in North Devon

Really good food, well priced and friendly staff.

Great fish & chips and friendly staff

Good service, polite staff and freshly made to order. Free parking after 1800hrs 50yrds away from shop. Double yellow outside shop, so just be aware.

We have just had cod and chips from South 16. It was absolutely delicious, good flaky fish, crispy batter, good well cooked chips with a bite to them. Excellent home made tartare sauce too. Highly recommend it. The staff and service are great too!

Excellent service! very prompt response to my request for a table, food was delicious & of generous portions served piping 🔥 hot. Will definitely visit again.

Off the main streets, well worth a visit. The cod was firm with nice crispy batter, the whole tail scampi was excellent. I recommend the homemade tartar sauce to accompany it.

Friendly owner and staff and excellent quality fish and chips. well run and nice indoor seating and eating. The other chippy got famous, but I think this one is the best.

Great fish and chip shop. You can order on the website and then turn up and collect. I'd have given 5 stars but there was a little mixup with one of our orders which meant we waited 15 mins for food that was already cooked.

Couldn't get in at any pub due to shortage of chefs everywhere but stumbled across this place. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, good value fish and chips, ended up feeling glad we went here than anywhere else! Food isn't greasy at all and very well cooked, would come back again no problem.

Brilliantly fresh and buttery haddock and scrumptious scampi cooked fresh to order with light batter. We particularly recommend a side of the homemade tartare sauce.Unfortunately we left our mushy peas on the counter, but luckily the kind cashier ran after us and we were reunited. This was exemplary customer service and I would recommend South 16 over Squires any day for service and ingredient quality.
