Tarko Lounge in North Devon

Couldn't of left any happier. Was greeted at the entrance with a smile and was told to sit wherever we liked. Ordered through our phones which makes things easier in my opinion. Quick service, well presented food and perfect temperatures. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommended the katsu chicken burger!

So I was in Barnstaple for a long weekend and came in here Monday morning before heading off to Manchester.I have eaten at a few of the lounges and been impressed how ever this was the first to fail expections . Food was okay , few of the breakfast items was bad the bacon was far to crispy , eggs was crispy, other than that generally ok .My biggest problem was unattentive and quiet distant staff , we wasn't greeted when we came in and shown to a table which the sign at the door ask you to wait to be seated , then there was four staff stood around on the bar not doing very much but chatting and laughing rather loudly , when I asked for English mustard they Brought american over and I had to shoute to one of the to ask for the right mustard , we received no check back to see if our food was okay or to see if we need any more drinks etc.Was underwhelming and the staff wasn't up to the standard I have experienced in other lounges .

Have been to the Tarka often. Service slow this time despite not overly busy. Won't put us off going again. Wine was excellent and the food good, although flatbread presentation boring.

Great little find after being out all day. Dog friendly, which is a bonus. Lots to choose from the menu and really reasonably priced. Service was good and food tasted great. If you're in the area, check this place out.

Cocktail special was lovely! The tapas board was divine! Lovely atmosphere and all round good vibes!

We just stopped by for some brunch and were SO pleased to find a totally Vegan menu available - so many choices and options we had trouble deciding what to choose. It made for a refreshing change compared to so many other places where there is only usually 1 Vegan option, if that. We all opted for the 'Ultimate Vegan Sausage Sarnie' along with cappuccino's with Soy or Oat milk... it was all totally delicious - plus the sun was shining so we were able to sit outside. Highly recommended.

Ordered an all day breakfast and a drink from here and both were lovely. If I had any small complaint, it would be that when I used the app to order I requested to remove the tomato from the breakfast, but it was on the plate when the meal arrived - it seems petty to pick up on something so small when the rest of the meal was so high quality, though. Thank you, I’ll definitely be coming again soon.

Staff were lovely, and very helpful. Food was incredible, i had the pork belly, mash potatoe, braised red cabbage and tender stem broccoli off the Christmas menu and it was all cooked to perfection, and a chocolate brownie the finish. Thourolly enjoyed myself!

Good for vegans with a whole menu for them. My cocktail tasted a bit soapy and was small for the price (£7.50) but I don't go out much so it may be normal! Nice atmosphere, good and easy to order via their app/ QR code. They were busy but we didn't feel rushed and the food was good.

Great place for breakfast/brunch, good vibes and really tasty food. Ordered two breakfasts, eggs and drinks via the app which seemed easy to use and food came quickly. Took the dog in as well.
