Awesome beachfront restaurant, with superb views! Hard to beat those tables on the rooftop patio. We sat and enjoyed a beer and dinner in the glorious sunshine! Also dog friendly🐕👍🏼

Excellent restaurant in Instow. Sea bass fillet with garlic gremolata and prawn and crab linguini our mains, both really delicious. Garlic and rosemary focaccia + smoked haddock fishcake for starters, really tasty, looking forward to coming back at the earliest opportunity!

Lovely visit with my my family who were over from Portugal.Lovely warm welcome from staff as we entered. It was a freezing day and we sat outside with our dog. The manager? Came out and said we could come in if we wanted to as we were all wrapped in fleecy blankets (provided)😀. Gorgeous coffee and cake, we all agreed on that. Definitely be revisiting soon 😃

Loved the atmosphere and views were spectacular even on a over cast day. Menu was not expansive but time if year reflected that, a little pricey but the food was tasty, well presented with a warm smile and smelt great.

Fantastic eatery. We booked 'The Terrance's which offers fab views of the estuary. The food is spot on, 3 of us having the King Prawn and Devon Crab Linguini which was tasty and filling. Another had the Crab burger which was equally as good.Would defo recommend but make sure you book!

Amazing setting and views. Watched the sunset whilst sipping wine...beautiful. might be a bit cold in the winter but worth an outside table if you can. Summer is a must for a booking here. Food was lovely even though I mistook a panacota as creme brule...my bad. So wasn't touched and they didn't question whether all was OK. Which would have been a nice touch and changed but he ho.Instow is a lovely spot and really worth a visit when in that area plus a trip to Appledore the following day was lovely too. Great couple of days as we stayed in bude and travelled down for a night.

Tricky one this as the night we ate here it was over an hour and a quarter from ordering until having our food on our table. However we were told that the kitchen was two members short due to being pinged for Covid, I believe this was a sincere excuse as the front of house staff were charming and did the 'right thing' to make amends without being asked. The menu itself has an interesting selection and the views, as you can see from my photos, are stunning especially at sundown.

Lovely bar come restaurant on the sea front. Upstairs has an open top which is great particularly in the summer.. Be expected to pay more than average. I had a crab burger with kimchee slaw which was good, however my partner was disappointed with her cod and butter bean cassoulet. It was obvious it had been left out to long before we were served as it had a "film" on the top also the chunks of bacon hadn't been cooked properly. The cod was adequate but at £21.50 it was overpriced.
