We booked an afternoon tea for 11, and it was one of the best afternoon teas we have had! The service was lovely - friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea was fabulous! Lovely freshly made sandwiches, catering for meat eaters and vegetarians. Beautiful cupcakes and chocolate cake as well as huge scones, jam and cream alongside plentiful tea and coffee. Absolute faultless and really highly recommended! Thankyou.x

If you are looking for great coffees and amazing food, freshly cooked/baked & locally sourced and super front of house customer service then head straight to The Boutport Cafe… honestly you will not be disappointed. Had the privilege of having breakfast here and I cannot recommend it enough. Plus the scones are a work of art. Well done guys, you are doing everything perfectly…. You deserve nothing but the best of reviews. My only disappointment is that you are not in Southampton so I can become a regular customer !!!

A really lovely cafe. Nicely decorated and cosy. With tasty food too! They have a great cream tea selection and you get a proper pot of tea with it. They are also dog friendly which is a plus. Highly recommend this place!

Warm welcome by the staff and totally enjoyed the Pate with bloomer toast, best Pate I have ever tasted! Wonderful. Homemade coleslaw that was excellent. Definitely will be going back,. Just lovely

Blown away by this little cafe, wife suggested it, I thought to myself 'oh god, a greasy spoon in Boutport Street!' How wrong was I!!! Very. Tastefully and warmly decorated inside and out it was a very welcoming cafe. The gentleman who served us was chirpy, bright and happy to help, but of my days the food was delicious, sure I had a cooked breakfast, very standard, but they raised the bar. Every bit was so tasty! Pot of tea, but a proper pot for once and good sized mugs, not that 80's metal teapot and tiny cups with saucers I still find served in 5 star hotels! Well done guys, you nailed it!

First time visitor this morning and will most definitely be making this a regular from now on. Delicious breakfast (Eggs Benedict) which I would confidently say is the best I've had. Lovely atmosphere. Very comfortable. Very friendly and very welcoming owners. Thanks so much.

This cafe deserves 10 stars. It is friendlyThe staff are fab not fussed when asked if we took a ingredient out. Because it is all cooked fresh on sight. We are staying locally and we are going back before our holiday is over. The marmalade ( home made) is so nice and I don’t normally like marmalade. They allow dogs in.If only they where closer to home this would become my regular cafe.Thank you so much for a nice meal.
