Steve, Hazel and staff once again made us really welcome, the food was excellent. Would recommend The Exeter Inn to anyone visiting the area.

What a hidden gem.Steve is front of house and everyone is treated as if they are regulars. Nothing is to much trouble and the staff are treated like a family member which shows in their service. Hazel you don’t get to see as she is in the kitchen cooking amazing meals. We went on a Friday night & for Sunday lunch. The Sunday lunch which we had trio of meat was exceptional. Homemade Yorkshire and 10 veg with the roast potatoes were some of the best. Keep room for a desert. The beer is well kept as well. Only fault they are not open Monday or Tuesday as we would have gone again. Thank you for making our holiday.

Visited this evening. Cosy little pub !All the food was excellent , fillet steak was superb , the salmon fillet was delicious. The griddled chicken with mushroom sauce was also very nice. It was hot and portion size was spot on. The desserts all amazing, especially the banoffee pot which was nourishing and loved the idea of it in a Mason jar.The staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend The Exeter Inn , look forward to visiting again! Thank you!Ellie , Mum (Debbie) and Grandparents.P.S here's a pic of my banoffee pot 😍

This place is amazing, make sure you pop in if you're passing by. We stayed in the cottage next door for a few days and the owners/hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The food is fantastic with burger and pizza night every Tuesday and Wednesday with a wide variety of drink selection to go with it. Very dog friendly pub wich was important to us. We hope to come back someday in the future as it was the highlight of our trip to be able to stay somewhere so special.

Booked a table here for my Wife’s birthday whilst we were on a local holiday. A gorgeous building in a nice part of the world. The staff were excellent and VERY welcoming. Service was of a very high standard and very quick. The food was excellent with the steak being one of the best I’ve had in a long time… I’d also recommend the toffee crunch cheesecake!! All in all a lovely visit and we’ll worth checking out. Make sure you book in advance though!

What a wonderful place! Turns out the owners revived it two years ago after about two years of disuse and, wow, they have rescued a treasure.Lovely owners, wonderful setting, nicely refurbished and the food was perfect. We had the chicken fajita (very good portion) and a stunning ciabatta that was so simple but so delicious.Kudos!
