A gorgeous family-owned pub with a fantastic atmosphere and delicious food.Our carvery was one of the best we've ever enjoyed with flavoursome, tasty ingredients, gigantic proportions of meat, light fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes and a sublime variety of vegetables.The potato dauphinoise is to die for.Highly recommended!!

First time visit for a number of years.. Wow! What a difference, looks so much more modern, and spacious. Enjoyed a lunchtime drink with family.

Lovely warm welcome, just dropped in for a pint off the Tarka Trail, asked to try the Atlantic pale, the sample was a full half. We ordered a pint and a half of the same, Landlord gave us a "Devon Half" which was nearly a full pint. Only sad we couldn't have stayed longer, looked like a great pub with a great atmosphere, recommend.
