Lovely atmosphere and great choice of drink. However older woman behind bar spoke to our group like we were children, and a younger waitress was dressed in a crop top which we thought was very unprofessional.

Good beer. The live music was very good. Nice to see a busy pub again. Definitely worth a visit, I will be going back to visit again.

Great friendly little pub, staff were welcoming. Beer & carols night was different but at the same time a great night.

Full of character, old pub with good selection of beers. Didn't sample the food but it looked nice enough. However, it felt like a bit of a throw back to hear last orders at 10:30pm.

Very dog friendly. We ordered lasagne and a jacket potato with cheese and beans and both were tasty and very hot. The beer was well kept and was very tasty and the wine was of good quality. They even bought out dogs a bowl of water.

Lovely atmosphere and very attentive and helpful staff but very disappointing food. Starter was Whitebait that was served with a teaspoon of tartar sauce, I kid you not, see pic. This was followed by the worse burger I have ever been served. No relish, no salad and charged £1 for some plastic cheese. The burger tasted like it was from a burger van spat out my first and only mouthful. Floured bun was rock solid. Chips were delicious!
