The George Hotel in North Devon

Myself and two relations had 3 day stay at The George Hotel. The staff were Extremely Curtious & most helpful. The Internal Decor is Excellent, & our Room's were Spotless. The food was Excellent. When other Relations joined us for Coffee etc, children asked for crisps ect, they were served in Dishes, not in the bag, which we felt was very good. When we visit SOUTH MOLTON AGAIN. This Will be our choice to stay.Thank you.Peter. David & Sandra Wilford.

Mark and the team were very professional...great rooms with character and a lovely choice of breakfast. Perfect location and hotel parking.

It's always a pleasure to stay at The George. The newly refurbished hotel offers beautiful rooms and staff who are always helpful and charming. A gem.

Nice hotel & the guy who greeted me was nice. No food served in the evening, which was a shame. Especially as there was NOWHERE open in the town for food in the evening(apart from a takeaway). Rooms were nice, apart from the creaky floors which was a distraction when trying to sleep?!

Great afternoon with friends at The George. Great environment with lots of atmosphere and company chairs. Sitting in front of the log fire with friends, Great!!

I've stayed at the George on a few occasions now and it's always been consistently excellent. Great friendly service with well decorated and maintained rooms with an excellent breakfast. Brilliant value for money.

Had a lovely stay here, family of 6. Rooms are clean and presentable. Food was great and plentiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this Hotel. Thank you for making my family most welcome.🙂

Hotel was clean and tidy, the breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Although there is no lift staff were more than willing to carry bags to our room on 2nd floor as we were unable due to arthritis. Will definitely stay again

The hotel is clean and well kept. My opinion is probably influenced by the fact that I had a small, single room during a heatwave: it was like being in an oven. However, the breakfast was very good and the bar was extremely comfortable, although I found the bar staff unwilling to enter into conversation which is a bit of a must if you're travelling alone.
