Absolutely amazing food, the best Wellington I’ve ever had. Crisp pastry, melt in the mouth beef and lots of flavour. The skate cheeks were really good as well. Lovely friendly staff. Well worth travelling to.

Fabulous service and lovely food in a really great pub. We chatted all evening and didn't have to compete with loud music or big screens. Our second visit was as good as the first.

·

The most friendly pub we have ever visited. Food was delicious. Xx Would highly recommend xx

Character village pub, we received a lovely friendly welcome, great menu choice & delicious food. Great choice of single malt whisky. 2nd visit here. Will definitely return & would recommend.

First time visitors this evening and we'll definitely be back... Took our Nanna for her first steak dinner since moving to South Molton from the Midlands and it was the most I've ever seen her eat! The whitebait starter was tasty and generous, the haggis scotch egg with whisky mayo was perfect (if I wasn't driving I might have added a little more whisky!) And we both enjoyed the red Thai curry. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing traditional pub, fabulous service. Excellent food especially with it being a large group if us! Their scotch eggs are superb and I think has ruined us for the future 🙈

Just arrived in North Devon today. So glad we booked dinner at the Grove Inn in advance. Its clearly very popular, & understandably so. Great hospitality by the staff, food absolutely delicious, service excellent. We both loved it all ! After a long drive, my hubbie deserved this treat.

The pub came recommended by the cottage we were staying and it lived up to its reputation. We had the Sunday roast which was superb and the hospitality was excellent. They laid on birthday bunting and welcomed our dog too. The locals also provided some great advice about walks in the surrounding area. A truely great experience.
