Totally fabulous ! Their food is outstanding, arrives quickly and is very reasonably priced - we went there two nights on the trot and all of our meals were fantastic (the best fish n chips I've ever had). Staff exceedingly welcoming and friendly. Can't recommend enough 👍

We wanted somewhere to come for tea on a Saturday night on a weekend break - with dog. March so had to be somewhere dogs could be inside and walking distance from where we were staying in Ilfracombe. Booked a table and glad we did as Restaurant was busy. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend and will be back

Lovely friendly staff. Nice choice on the menu. Children’s menus was very good value. Free with an adult meal. I really like the variety in the side salad not just boring lettuce and tomato.Would definitely recommend and visit again.Soft play and skittle lane was well enjoyed.

Is a great restaurant/PubWe we're made very welcome from the start.Think the young lady's name was Kim very friendly very helpful nothing was to much trouble.If you get a chance to eat here do it ... the food was excellent, beer was good.We spent a good 6 hours here and enjoy our time tremendously....

15 of us dined in today and sat downstairs in the bowl alley which had a play area for the kids. Amazing service, really friendly and helpful and great food. If we ever visit Ilfracombe again, we'll definitely pop in on our return.

Lovely pub, felt really cosy and homely. Staff were extremely polite and accommodating, was made to feel very welcome as soon as we came in which is nice when you're on holiday and not from the area. Food was 10/10, what a lovely little gem by the sea!

Friendly staff, nice food, yet a lack of information on the website.The menu on offer at the moment is heavily reduced, they are currently not offering starters or desserts and a smaller selection of mains than advertised on the website.There was also no mention of a reduced menu when booking.A reduced menu is completely understandable due to staff shortages, however it would be nice to know beforehand.Other than that, very nice food.

Really lovely burgers, the chicken burger came with two options- either grilled or fried breadcrumb. Came with onion rings and a decent portion of chips. Tasty though. Staff were friendly and pleasant, very attentive. Overall cost was slightly on the pricey side, but as we were visiting for the first time and possibly the last- worth it. The menu has a good variety also

We had a lovely meal in the Hele Bay Pub one night when we went to Ilfracombe for a few days. My husband and I both went for a sirloin steak and it was yummy! We enjoyed every mouthful. And the cider was very fresh and tasty! The staff was friendly, and the service was excellent.
