The Log Cabin Diner in North Devon

Met family here for breakfast before going on our weekend break. 10 of us. Absolutely perfect! Lovely clean cooked breakfast, great prices. Lovely staff. Indoor and outdoor eating. Plenty of parking, great location. Great for stretching yours and doggys legs. I would definitely go there again if I go that way.

Stopped for lunch…great range of all day breakfasts, sandwiches, jacket potatoes and main meals. Lovely setting, big car park (welcomes cars, motorhomes, lorries for parking). Great service, food and prices

Great place and is good quality service and food, it is a main road cafe so don't expect ala carte menu but they do excellent cafe food at a reasonable price.

A very welcome stop over to use toilet and get a lunchtime snack. Promp service. Good Coffee and Pasty which 9I chose to take out and eat unheated.

Nice area, but the toilets were freezing cold and the cafe didn’t have the heaters on even though it’s about 6 degrees outside. Burger was pretty sub-par too. Had better from a burger van for about half the price, but it was edible.

Pleasant spot to stop at on a journey with I door and outdoor seating. Food is regular fare and cooked well. If you bring your own coffee cup you get a reduced cost hot drink. One slight negative was that having chosen to eat outside our meals came in polystyrene containers with plastic cutlery...ugh. Would have been fine if a more eco friendly plate/cutlery had been used.

We had a Med, all day breakfast, it was cooked as it should be - nice N slow, perfectly cooked with nothing under or over cooked. This is the 3rd time in about 5 years we have been, Staff are still just as pleasant as the 1st time.Massive toilets next door, and as the cafe "very clean" lots of car or truck parking ( separate from cars ) even if you are just passing, great to let the kids out and play on the swings while you stretch your legs 👍

Great little stop for refreshments, leg stretches or toilets. It’s a lovely big area with swings and greenery for children and dogs. Be aware that it’s a strict 0730-1530 for the food but the toilets are 24/7. The food is straightforward and great value for the money - fresh cooked in generous portions. A great tucked away little gem if you are travelling, passing through or out on bicycle or motorbike.
