Friendly, warm pub run by a lovely couple. Great food, warm fires and good beer.

We visited this pub based on the reviews and were expecting excellent food and we were sadly disappointed, the pub has a terrible old smoky odour on entering. The chips were greasy, the fish batter also greasy. The burger had a cheap cheese slice on it. The chocolate fudge cake straight out the fridge not warmed, toffee sauce added which came from a supermarket not Chef made. Disappointing.Save the above it's based in a lovely location with great views.Sorry.

Sunday lunch was so good we returned on Wednesday to find food even better especially the 1/2 duck. We will definitely be back! Also very dog friendly.

Moved into the area recently fantastic pub with a very good sunday lunch 👌 nice gin selection, we go nearly every Sunday. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere 👍

We followed a sign from a main road and after a couple of miles of single track lanes we arrived at this lovely 16th century village pub. The restaurant was fully booked for the evening, but between 6pm and 7pm they offer a takeaway meal service. We had scampi and chips and peas and it was great.

This is a great place in exmoor the staff are great there is a great range of beer and the food is to die for so all in all a gem in molland

Of all the English pubs I've visited, this one takes the crown!Claire, the pub owner / keeper, is one of the most hospitable individuals I have met. We brought our infant to the pub for dinner, and, of course, our kiddo began to get fussy half way through the meal. My partner and I had to take shifts outside to mollify her, and Claire was so thoughtful - she kept our meal warm while we took shifts.Beyond world class service, the food is spectacular, I mean it's REALLY good.If you are in the area, this is the place you should go to for dinner!
