Had a fantastic Roast Dinner here on Easter Sunday. Lovely tender meat, great selection of veggies. Staff really friendly.

Stopped here after seeing the signs outside advertising the local Wizard Brewery, only to find none of their brews available nor were there any craft ales (perhaps understandable as this was at the end of the February half term). I settled for a Weston's, bag in a box, Old Rosie cloudy cider and chilli bean nacho's (the guacamole was excellent) others in my party had sandwiches. The staff were friendly and the food was well presented, the pub could do with some redecoration as it looks tired. A useful lunch stop on the quay next door to the aquarium and the Damien Hurst Verity sculpture.

Wanted to stop here for the brewery but they dont have it any more, also limited fish on offer as its out of season. But staff were friendly and welcoming, pub is dog friendly and the fish and chips was good.

We had a fantastic time. Fabulous food and a great atmosphere. Well attended by great staff and the front of house guy was engaging and friendly. We only got in because a party of 19 cancelled at the last minute. I hope they are ok and we are grateful to benefit from their cancellation

We came here for a meal on our holiday. We pre booked the table and we had plenty of options of times and the woman who answered the phone was very pleasant. When we arrived we were showed our table. It was very quiet to begin with and busied up a little as the evening went on. Initially after our drinks order was taken, the drinks arrived promptly. We ordered our food and one of our party asked for another drink and this was added to the order. The drink ordered with the food did not turn up as quickly as the first round and unfortunately we had to prompt where this drink was when the food arrived at the table. The order of one of the party members was delivered incorrectly and so had to be sent back (the order was for a pulled pork burger and a beef burger was bought to the table). The chips and peas were cold when the food arrived, however the burgers were all very tasty and felt homemade, as advertised on the menu. The portion sizes were good. Noone asked us how the food was and if we had everything we ordered or needed, and we did not have enough cutlery for everyone at the table so we had to try and get someone's attention to get more cutlery (and then we were given more than we needed when we only asked for one more set). There seemed to only be two front of house members of staff, and at one point later in the evening the chefs were calling for service but the front of house staff were nowhere to be found and the chef had to call again several minutes later, at which point the staff had reappeared but we're busy taking phone calls and dealing with seating new customers before they could get the next tables food. The chip portion sizes seemed inconsistent across the table, some having lots and others not having as many. Yes that is possibly being a bit picky but it was something that was noticed by several members of the party, so it was enough of a discrepancy to be noticed.Overall, it was decent food, service started very well but unfortunately it was not consistently good throughout. I appreciate that during busy times things can become more difficult to keep on track of, however it was not that busy in there, probably 4-5 tables with people on. Pleasant staff when they were there. The meal was ok, but unfortunately not something to rave about or somewhere I would rush to go back to.

Nice bar with friendly staff and good selection of drinks. They do food here too, but have to book ahead to save being disappointed. Great location, but be careful walking back into town as the road adjacent to the harbour can get a bit crowded with holiday makers, pedestrian and in cars, along with trucks/lorries delivering and people working the local area. That said does provide some free entertainment in people watching.

Lovely food (fabulous fish and chips) really friendly team and dog friendly. It was well decorated with a nice ambience and a good gin collection. Good location, situated near the lovely Verity and harbour.

Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Generous portion sizes I had the Antipasti salad and meat selection very nice. During our visit there was a mix up with a table not the restaurants fault and the girls dealt with this so well especially as the customers were so rude. You do not deserve to be treated like that girls but you were so professional we will definitely be back.
