We booked a table here as it was the closest pub serving meals to our venue. We were very pleased with everything. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The food was excellent and arrived after an acceptable time for it to be freshly cooked. Real chips too!😊The seating area is light and clean, and pleasant ambient music was playing in the background. There is parking on the square opposite, not sure about any other parking. Well worth a visit.

Highly recommended pub. Great home made food and real ale. Clean facilities with nice views across the valley from the dining room.

Lovely food, very reasonably priced & beautiful views out over the hills in the restaurant. We went as a family of 4 & the food choice was great.

visited this pub for a Sunday roast we was extremely disappointed. Walked in to be met by a lot of loud locals by the bar , waited to be served to be seated as we prebooked but didn’t need to as we was the only ones eating . Ordered the food which we only had the choice of pork or beef . The meat was very dry and on the cold side it all tasted microwaved NOT FRESH ! The potatoes were hard , dry and tasteless . The Yorkshire pudding was also over cooked and very dry on top so 100% tasted microwaved. The gravy was like water and had little taste of meat juices . Me and my husband left a lot on the plate as not much was edible . We had to pay full price which was shockingly expensive. The roast was £12 which would be fine if it was actually nice .Definitely DONT Recommend !(Website is very misleading , don’t be fooled)

Picked this pub as a dinner stop after reading the reviews, only one word can describe it, "fabulous". A nice friendly welcome for drinks followed by getting shown to our table to view the menu. A good selection available and should have something for everyone. I opted for the local steak pie and wasn't disappointed, huge chunks or meat and delicious gravy in a lovely pastry case. We didn't opt for any of the deserts as to be honest we were full after the mains. Will definitely be back...

Had a lovely 2 night break. Food was great, staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with great views of the countryside. Beautiful quiet location on the edge of Exmoor.

Really polite and amazing staff, when stated there were allergies on the table the waitress did everything she could to make sure there was no cross contamination. Amazing views from the dining room. Will definitely be coming back next time we want a hearty meal and a comfortable place to eat.
