We recently had a holiday in the town and wanted to try some local seafood . The restaurant is situated near the harbour and has a pirates cove theme. It had a lovely ambience and the staff were very friendly. I had the grilled cod and my partner the prawns. Both our dishes were cooked perfectly and we would recommend the place to anyone. Prices are reasonable and the menu had a very good choice of tasty looking dishes.

The new Banksy on the front side wall of the Smugglers Restaurant at the Quay in Ilfracombe - amazing new Banksy picture sees Damion Hurst becoming the muse. Great place to come and see the art work, have a bit to eat and take in the harbour views at Ilfracombe.

Lovely eating place, right by the inner harbour. Can be very busy here, so the staff may take your mobile number & call you when a place becomes available, please stay nearby because it’s a superb little restaurant with a varied menu, & very worth the wait. Also the staff are friendly & service excellent.

Amazing food. Arrived just at the right time to grab a table ! The staff were so lovely. I personally had the swordfish steak which was 10/10 and my partner had the salmon and prawns which he also loved ! Would 100% recommend if you want a sit down meal. We went for lunch time.

Such a lovely place. The decor is fabulous. I had salmon and my husband had the hot seafood platter. Both perfectly cooked, delicious and served quite quickly and with a smile. The staff are really nice people too.
