Excellent location, relaxed friendly staff and quality food, with access lovely walks straight from the Staghunters. A big thank you alround

A lovely place and very helpful people. Food was excellent, and the rooms very comfy. A wonderful location in beautiful countryside.

Wonderful experience. stumbled across it on a rainy hike. Allowed us in early and had an incredible roast by the fire.

My favourite holiday stay, lovely people. Nice clean rooms, breakfast cant fault it made to order. Dinner delicious. We will be back.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this family run pub/hotel situated on a quiet country lane adjacent to the river where there are trestle tables to enjoy a quiet drink. The staff and clientele all get on well ensuring a comfortable and relaxing break. The food was good and plentiful. The rear garden is large and sitting there you can imagine yourself in any decade of the 20th century.

Traditional pub food. Generous portions and excellent service. They were so accommodating - bringing children's food out quickly. Highly recommend

Fantastic place, always a fantastic visit. Staff always friendly and food delicious. Dog friendly too ! Lots to do and places to visit nearby

Great place, very accommodating staff and really good food too, pleasantly surprised and would no doubt visit again if in the area. We arrived with 5 adults and 2 kids, the kids were starving and they brought their food out very quickly keeping them happy. Food and drinks were well priced and with good options for Gluten free & vegetarian.

Great family owned and run hotel. Stayed many times over the years and always made to feel welcome. It's like a second home. Love it.

Great old fashioned pub, very welcoming serving a lovely selection of pub grub with fine ales.
