We were a party of 12 on 15th June for my husbands 70th birthday. Service and staff you couldn’t fault, and the food was beautiful. Thank you so much.

Beautiful woolacombe. Booked weeks in advance. 2 hours slot allocated for dinner. Told we couldn't have starter as they were "due a busy night". Gorgeous food but perhaps take on less custom so existing customers feel less rushed and can have starter/dessert. Table next to us mentioned same problem..."we had similar conversation last year". Given they own one of the prime sites in woolacombe, service should match. Only dinner out during our one week break felt spoilt.. Frustratingly will not be returning. We were also embarrassed in front of our family who had come down specially. Couldn't laugh it off as mortified inside. So I left the above review on Tripadvisor and below was the response I got: Enough said really. Very hostile and rather shocked.Just to be clarify:. We were 25 minutes early and we phoned to cancel as had covid but the team obviously don't communicate .Management response to my feedback:You forgot to mention that you were 25mins late for your table, effectively making it impossible to look after you without spoiling the evening for everyone else. You also forgot to mention last year, when you failed to show up at all for your booking !

Can't fault the food as it was superb. However, part of eating out includes the ambiance, service etc. I booked a table for 2 today (Sunday 8th May) to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. The table was booked for 1.30pm. we arrived 10 mins early but we were shown straight away to the table we had reserved. Ordered drinks no issue, then came our order for food which was taken, again no issue. We then waited..........and waited.........and waited........and waited, ordered yet another drink and it was only at this point we were told that there was a shortage of staff in the kitchen but that we shouldn't have to wait much longer. Guess what ??? We waited........and waited........and waited, and only when I said that we were all for going we were told that our order was next. In all we waited 1hour 17 mins from the time of order to when we received our meal. Although we accept that due to the current climate there are staff shortages everywhere, it would have been told that there was a delay in food at the outset instead of after our second round of drinks. To make matters even worse is the fact that I myself are diabetic so was fast becoming close to my limit of requiring something to eat. We were then asked if we would like dessert which would have been nice but we didn't have the extra 2 hours it would have taken. They were not very busy, and the table next to me had to ask several times, eventually literally shouting for his bill. Yet there were 3 staff stood behind the bar doing nothing. A real shame as the food was excellent but the service was so bad and slow, we can think of many more ways to spend 3 hours +

The best sit-down restaurant in Woolcolmbe. Seriously don’t go anywhere else. We dined here three nights in a row! I wish I had more pictures of the food but here is a photo of my dog looking shocked that he couldn’t partake. The best meal I had was the lamb shank. I also tried the ribs (super hearty portion!) and the warm seafood salad. Beer was cold, and the wine selection good. The service was great, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Just a great place for a hearty, fresh, home-cooked meal.

Early afternoon on Thursday 10th February, this was open for a Welcome coffee. Majority of other Woolacombe café's despite Google maps showed open were closed. Only does meals in evening, but had crisps.Lovely sea views, also clean modern outside seating with waist high glass protection from wind. Friendly mask wearing barman, thank you.

Such delicious food!We had a table next to the gents, which wasn’t the best, but the food was so good I can only give the Inn 5*Service was a bit slow (they were busy, and we were there an hour before the main course arrived). But I would definitely return, simply for the food! Only one photo because we ate it too quickly.

We messed up the booking and needed to add two more to our table. They couldn’t have been more accommodating, they sorted everything out and made us feel really welcome.Then…. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely.Great staff, great owners and a brilliant chef.
