Beer was good today, but no food available. Very friendly, and helpful, staff on this afternoon.

Stayed here for one night and didn't stay for a second night.Rooms very dated but we're clean.Went for breakfast at 9am and as we sat down saw a pool of vomit on the floor and on the chair cushion. Not sure if human or dog but it put us off breakfast. Manageress very rude and said if you are not happy then leave!!!!Will definitely not return.

Excellent local pub. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff with a welcoming smile and a very fussy dog called Gollum.

I really don't like leaving negative reviews, all I can say is if you have to stay here prepare yourself, it's dirty, most of our group had problems with things not working (plumbing). We didn't even stop for breakfast. I would hate any holiday makers to think that this is how Devon does it's accommodation, it is not.

Definitely my favourite pub in westward Ho! Has a really nice atmosphere and you can get a good pint at a great price. The staff are always really friendly whenever I go in. Also great place to play pool or watch the football! I highly recommend!

Probably the worst chicken curry I've ever hadMore like chicken in warm gravy with undercooked riceI only gave it 1 star because it had proper chicken in it not the frozen white cubes of chicken you get from Iceland. And the poppadoms were absolutely swimming in oil.will not be going back again thats a promise

Why can't i give it 0 stars? Absolutely horrendous, the only member of our party who didn't eat was the dog and he got off lightly! Chicken stack burger made with a fundus chicken fillet from Tesco's and a damp brown roll and a hash brown? No thanks. Lasagne that was home made that was void of any flavour.. a frozen finger roll with butter and raw garlic...is that some kind of joke? Steak pie, again home made but no flavour, fish pie again home made but not flavour? Can you see where I'm going? Served with vegetables? Frozen peas !! This place is a joke and I don't write this review lightly it was terrible and this lot cost £60! Wow,! So do yourself a favour and avoid it like the plague, I've literally been robbed in front my very eyes. Avoid at all costs

We were a bit disappointed, considering the price we paid for a 4star establishment. It was all clean, at least and we slept reasonably well. However, very light curtains brought morning to the room around 3am! Bathroom just about adequate, though tiny. We were given 3 towels, one small, one medium and one bath. As there were two of us, we requested a second bath towel, but were refused! Breakfast was OK, but extremely limited for vegetarians... It was also somewhat disorganised. We won't be returning.
