We visited the pub for dinner and we had a lovely time. It has a nice, cosy atmosphere and it is very nicely decorated inside. Food was good pub grub.

The Wayfarer offers a good value well cooked food, especially fond of their Sunday roast! It is somewhat of a hidden gem in Instow and we highly recommend a visit.

Excellent food and very helpful staff. There is also a new menu, which is very reasonable, plus the old menu which is also great. Would highly recommend a visit.

My car broke down and after a couple of hours in the cold waiting for the recovery service, I went in to this pub. Firstly it is so beautifuly decorated, the bar staff were so kind, I explained my situation, said I would love a hot chocolate, not sure they do that but they did one especially for me, and it was delicious. Ended staying there for 3 or 4 hours, they came out and helped push car out of the road. They looked after me and when the recovery vehicle finally came 6.5 hours later, landlord came out to make sure I was ok. Warm welcome, great people, will definitely go for a proper outing.

I went to Instow, Devon, to see my youngest sister and her partner, Ian, who were on holiday from London. I live in Liskeard, Cornwall, about 75 miles away and took the opportunity to visit. We had a lovely meal at the Wayfarer Inn, and the staff were very friendly, attentive and polite. It was a lovely day for us all - including Dolly and Spud, their two gorgeous rescue dogs!

I give four stars only because they are pet friendly. apart of two nice ladies I have been treated with indifference from all staff which are all a bunch of children waiting a moment to be on their phones and not doing their best for the family business which I believe it is this B&B. The food wasn't what I was expected to get. The room wasn't that clean how it should be and not quite at all during the night. Not speaking about parking space if you will decide to park at the park and display (I strongly not recommend) you will find your car full of dust.
