Well what an amazing Sunday roast we had at Wards Bistrothe food was outstanding we were recommended to eat here by some locals from Facebook and we weren't disappointed huge portions the beef was to die for and the roasties were divineWe were outside for a while as we came early for a drink first the outside area had such a buzz about it a great mixture between locals and holiday makers such a great atmosphere The front of house lady Sharon was so good entertaining the customers & the waiting staff were super friendly staff and always smiling and it was such a nice touch that the Chef came out to say hi to everyoneHighly recommended !!!

What a lovely evening in this family run establishment. The chef and his wife are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My Thai fishcake starter was a taste sensation. The cannelloni main course was easily one of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. If you are in Ilfracombe, be sure to try Wards. You will not regret it!!

Beautiful food, full of flavour. Wonderful service and very well priced. Will be visiting again on our next trip to Ilfracombe

Nice lady who help with my headache with paracetamol, good food would like bit more potatoes. Fish was fresh & stake with pepper sauce very nice -husbend of lady who own it studied sauces abroad so he is expert with it :)

Super friendly landlady. So much care was taken to explain the dishes. There were six of us who had a selection of dishes which were all really good and great value. The puddings were exceptional! As others have said - you feel as if you're at home, the atmosphere is that good. Thank you Sharon!

Delightful food and service husband and wife team with family assisting

Went for a beer with the family in the garden and spent an hour soaking up the last rays in this lovely sun trap. Super-friendly landlady, full of positivity and we felt very welcome. Shame we couldn't try the food yet, but we'll definitely head back there on our return in a couple of weeks. Highly recommended.

Absolutely superb evening meal. We had the tuna and the lamb steak and both were gorgeous and beautifully cooked. The owners John and Sharon were so welcoming and friendly and the service was superb. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely evening.
