Amy's Fish & Chips in North Dorset

Really sad, the chips were definitely frozen and not home made! Not sure if fish is either?

Decided to give Amy's another go, mistake. Truly the worst fish and chips ever, dry chips and tasteless fish. Sad to leave such a terrible review, but it these times of financial constraints, £15 for two smaller portions, it's not good.

Food was nearly 2 hours late and freezing cold! Sauces,cheese and salads all missing off orders! A member of staff agreed to give me a refund on Monday yet no refund received and everytime I call I'm told a different day or different excuse so looks like I won't be getting my money back!! Was a £40 order that was not edible! AVOID THIS PLACE!! Staff are extremely rude! Swearing at me and moaning about where they deliver too and how much they charge yet that's their choice!UPDATE- after waiting over a week I went in to the shop and eventually i got my money back! Will never make the mistake of using here again!!

It was cooked to order, so very hot.Chips not the best but edible, fish a little tasteless but they wouldn't have known that. Batter was very nice.

Food was disappointing, fish was soggy, large chips was the same size as a small so kids were still hungry after. The amount spent would have thought better food would be presented. Wouldn't buy from here again.

If your looking for good food this is not the place for you. I would rather support a takeaway that cares about the quality of the food and not taking 2 hours for delivery. Even when we phoned to ask where it was they couldnt even care neither could the driver

Bad experience tonight. Food So dry and stuff missing. Not to mention the bbq sauce upside down in the bag all over the other food. They reordered are meals but turning up at 11pm put me off waiting. Now going to bed with a stomach rumbling. I never had problems before. Disappointed tonight 😡.

I have ordered from Amy's several times in the past and never had any issues. I can tell you I am writing this currently as I wait for the restaurant to drive all the way back out to me (11 miles) to drop off part of my order that wasn't even made yet alone given to the delivery driver. My fish & chips quite frankly is horrible -- I have left 90% of it as the batter is soggy & stodgy as hell. I could tell even before I opened it up just by the fact that my box was soaked through from grease!Absolute let down. I'm assuming it's under new management and can safely say I WILL NOT be ordering again from them.

Not impressed, received my order 1hr and 30 minutes after ordering. When the take away finally arrived the BBQ sauce lid was left open and had leaked all over the food inside the bag. The food itself was dry and missing items that i had paid for, and the Donnor meat and Chips with Cheese arrived with no cheese.
