Pleasant enough, though was aware of an overwhelming smell of fish - presumably from the fish pie on the specials board. Wasn't a major problem for me, but my wife would've stopped at the door as she hates fish!

We had a lovely meal for four of us yesterday evening (Saturday). The atmosphere in the pub was great, and the food and drink spot on, great staff and good value. Would highly recommend this pub if you enjoy a cosy atmosphere, good pub food and well kept beer, and service with a smile.

Lovely , small and spotlessly clean little pub.Good beer and friendly locals .We visited on a Sunday but didn't need as much as a Sunday roast and they very kindly made us sandwiches ( superb quality ham ! )We will certainly be back

Great pub. Attentive staff. When ordering the steak pie we were told chef was still making it so went for something else. So home made food was REALLY home made.

Great local pub, friendly and welcoming staff. Very good fish and chips, enjoyed with a solid selection of local beers and ciders on tap.
