Fiddleford Inn in North Dorset

We had a fantastic meal. Good service and a great atmosphere in the pub.

Good food at a fair price. Nice garden setting on a sunny day.

Stopped in for lunch, food was great, good pub grub done well. Really nice salad. And service was brilliant, thoughtful and friendly server, thinking the room we were initially seated in was a bit cool and checking if we would like to sit somewhere warmer.

Went here for my brother's 50th birthday. Everything was perfect. Welcoming fire, cheerful, professional and helpful staff, and the food was devine. Thank you! (Oh and best of all, dogs allowed!)

We had our Christmas lunch at the Fiddleford and what can I say absolutely fantastic. Food was amazing piping hot, full of flavour and good portions which were presented beautifully. Barry and the staff were excellent and would highly recommend. Great atmosphere and customer service

In walking distance to the Fiddleford Manor (English Heritage run), this pub is a short walk for much needed refreshments. The pub is dog friendly with plenty of indoor seating and a giant beer garden for when the weather allows. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The Guy Ritchie brewed, English Lore 4% ABV Ale, was available on cask at the time of the visit and it was great. Thank you for the hospitality.

Stayed here for 2 nights to attend a nearby wedding. The rooms are amazing and really nicely maintained and the staff were excellent, nothing was ever too much trouble and they all made time to chat to us to see how we were etc. Every meal we had was also excellent, great flavours and good size portions. We were particularly surprised at how great the staff were on the Saturday night/early Sunday morning. We arrived back well after midnight on sat/sun and the few staff who were still about were asking how we were, offering us food and drink and checking what time we wanted breakfast. A really nice surprise considering how late it was and the fact that the pub and kitchen were closed. Highly recommended the Fiddleford Inn, its a great place to stay and eat, we will be using it again.

Our family visited last night for the first time in years. We weren't disappointed.I had tempura prawns which were fantastic.My son had steak which he said was the best he'd ever had, the rest of the family had lasagne again great. All very tasty, Portions were good too, only one of us finished our meals.Great service, very friendly staff and lovely beer garden.Will defo visit again.
