First time in 5 years and hundreds of reviews that I have posted I have given 5 stars. The greeting was warm and welcoming. We sat by the fire with the menus before being led to our table. The service was excellent, attentive, but not intrusive. My photos hopefully reflect the standard of the cuisine; for the first time, my companion heard me use the word perfect. On reflection I think that perfect was the right word to use. We will definitely visit again.

Stayed for one night. Room was spacious, crispy clean, decor up to date, good shower, comfy very large bed.Breakfast; one of the best full English to date, bordering on fine dining served in a well presented dining room with properly dressed tables. Liked it a lot and based on our stay would 100% recommend.

Every detail of service and food was perfect. The bar area was so comfy to have coffee. The garden is small, but stunning. A slighty old fashioned air. My only criticism is that it needs a little background music, as we had to wisper it was so quiet.

We stayed at the Fleur de Lys for 3 night's whilst working locally. Nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were lovely and the food was excellent for breakfasts and dinner. They catered extremely well for our dietary requirements and we would absolutely look forward to returning the next time we are in the area. I woukd highly recommend either staying here or dining in the restaurant.
