We had a Sunday birthday lunch at the Baker Arms and cant speak highly enough of the welcome and service we received. From the time we booked the staff ensured our needs were met - re menu choices ect. We were a group of 12 including 3 children. The table was laid complete with birthday confetti and the children were well catered for with child size cutlery, kids choices and drinks. Our meals were all beautifully presented and so tasty! The young lady serving us was helpful and very knowledgeable - explaining the local beers and wine choices. Over all we would highly recommend this as a great pub and place to eat.

Another beautiful meal at The Bakers Arms. A birthday meal for my partner and they made it really special. Even making his favourite meal just for him. The food is heaven on a plate. Thank you so much to all of the team. You really are top notch. 👌

Lunchtime drinks in beer garden. Cheerfully served at table. Plenty of tables & umbrellas.

Having just walked Hambledon Hill and Hod Hill with a different pub lunch planned, where we couldn't get in, with the help of Google Maps and the car we found The Bakers Arms. Here the welcome, from staff and a chap comfortably settled at the bar, was friendly and the wood-burner was welcome warmth after the cold outside. We had a delicious lunch, in my case halloumi bun with baba ganoush and chips and my daughter enjoyed scotch egg and millionaire chips (worth the journey just for those). It's a great old world village pub, well worth a visit, on foot or in the car.

The Bakers Arms in Child Okeford is a wonderful little village pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to its visitors. The quality of the food is fantastic and the pub offers excellent booth seating by a cozy fire. When you drop in we highly recommend trying the burgers, they are delicious. The Bakers Arms offer great support to the local community, this was evident by the Phesantfest which was a fantastic and well supported community day. We love that the pub is a dog friendly pub also!

Lucky enough to be the 1st booking in the newly renovated Daisy Cottage @ The Baker Arms, an extremely welcoming country pub with great food. The kitchen in Daisy Cottage had everything you could need on a short break, although with the pub on the doorstep serving a great homemade/local menu we decided to have dinner there and used it only for a quick breakfast in the morning. The cottage has one bedroom with a good sized lounge dinner with a sofabed (very comfortable).Soft furnishings and decor is ideal for this country retreat. We will certainly be back!Thank you to the new owners who worked tirelessly to make our stay so relaxed and enjoyable. Good operators
