Ok. It is a nice ride out but Foggy and Compo AKA Tony and Pete will not be visiting again now that we have been forced to use the shed in the field. A luke warm coffee with egg and bacon baguette brought down from the restaurant for us Plebs cost £11.00. You are having a laugh. I do hope the "Sky Pilots" make up for us because that's our last visit.

Perfect service. Meal great - slightly on the small size but a yum English breakfast and my eyes are bigger than my....you get the picture.

We got there early but they opened up early for us so I repaid the favour and put the brollies up. Nice cuppa, lovely baguette, lovely staff.

Lovely outlook, friendly staff, home cooked food. Outside area was closed, but you could go outside by the carpark and still watch the flying.

Good coffee. One of the best bacon baguettes you will get anywhere. Lovely place to while away a couple of hours, watching the aircraft, cars, and bikes. Bit busy when we went, so service was a bit slow, but they don't compromise on quality.

Not once have I visited and it’s actually been open. A few friends and I visited and intended to spend a pretty penny on their food and drink but it was shut. no bother, we decided to park on the road for a break after driving from Bristol only to be greeted by someone who runs it asking us to move on from a public road wide enough for traffic to pass us, not a clear way nor double yellows can’t see the issue if I’m honest I suspect it was because we are pond-life well beneath him and his pilot friends

My Mum really enjoyed her birthday meal here. The cafe team went out of the way to make her comfortable and accommodate her requests, food was great, and we all enjoyed watching the planes.

Good lunch menu, friendly staff, prices reasonable. Looking out onto the airfield, the coffee shop is well placed for observing the action.

First Impression - Unassuming airfield cafe. Rapture - not. Wait, wait!It was soon after 12 noon, in wintry covidsphere. Quick response to doorbell, warm welcome and warmer inside. So far so good. Windowside table looking out onto the vale, the odd hill, skies and some airplanes (of course), getting so much better and setting the scene for a pleasant downtime Sunday. The service was to the point but done nicely; furnishings, the same, clean and tidy.Mixed clientele - oh goody, folks of mature vintage, younger, much younger and 2-wheelers, with engines and I thought I saw a few in bicycle-type gear. A Notice above a doorway in a discreet position said, "Well behaved children welcome" or something like that. It made me smile cos the week before I experienced something different in a cafe, not 16 miles away. All-in-all, so very glad to have visited Compton Cafe today. Will remember the place with pleasant thoughts and will call again and like today will have more than a coffee; what we ate was well prepared and good to eat and have to mention the coffee again, as just right for us to slurp and to our taste!

Great friendly place. The kids absolutely loved watching the planes take off and land. So glad that they're able to reopen now.
