The Halsey Arms in North Dorset

Now, now, wait your turn even if the local's haven't quite finished their beverage despite that you're quite clearly waiting for service at the bar. It's an unwritten rule you know courtesy of the dumpy middle aged blond behind the bar. Irony is I only live up the road. Perhaps a more welcoming reception at the Green Man? WTS.

Beautiful. 4 of us went for dinner, great food, very filling. Lovely staff.

This is an excellent family pub. And has the best carvary in dorset.

Only went for a couple of pints out in the sunshine. Nice outdoor area with lots of covid safe seating. Didn't need to book. Dog friendly. And lots of nice ciders on tap! Will definitely be back 😊

The bar staff were nice but I would not recommend the food. When ordering a burger in a pub a certain quality is assumed. This was a thin frozen burger straight out of a 1983 burger van slapped in a dry bun with no salad, sauce or anything. I haven't seen a burger like this in a pub in years. Even the waitress admitted she wouldn't eat it. Gross.
