The Langton Arms in North Dorset

Celebrated my birthday here last weekend. The venue was great food amazing and staff excellent. We all enjoyed playing skittles and the children loved the play area. Many thanks for making it a memorable day

Came here for my Birthday meal and it was fantastic. Service is excellent and the food is really delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and I feel drink and food are good value for money. We will certainly be back soon.

Stayed overnight using Britstop. Large quiet parking area. Food is amazing and staff were all lovely and friendly and smiley. No fuss was made when notified them of my pepper allergy. Will be going back and highly recommend. Thank you all.

If this wasn't previously known as an excellent gastro pub, it should now be considered more, as a high class country restaurant. The prices do reflect this, but you do get very much what you pay for, which is not always the case. The personal service and ambiance are excellent. The location may be slightly difficult if you are new to the area. (Note, you can avoid the ford, if you're anxious!), and they're good traffic free dog walks along the adjacent hillside. Well worth time spent.

We had a lovely stopover in our campervan. The food and service was excellent. The staff very friendly and accommodating.

Very helpful great meals .one very miner irritation the coffee machine is very loud. But otherwise a loverly lunch. And hope to eat there again soon Thank you

We had a fantastic evening here tonight. The hospitality, food, atmosphere and service was fantastic. We felt like old friends meeting up again. Thank you!

Went for New years eve. Sat near restaurant entrance, new baby and dog next tables. Very bright lights ,cheap serviettes, plastic table cloth. Veg served all together in what looked like a cafe bowl. It was all like school dinners. Tepid ,salty and bag salad leaves. Not impressed. Very abrupt waiter kept asking, "all right" .

Fabulous pub! Food fabulous. Amazing service. Can’t fault any of that. Not the cheapest but worth the extra for sure. Despite some negative reviews, speak as we found - 14 of us - & no one had a bad word to say. Check it out yourself!

Amazing and large portions of locally sourced food from the owners farm and surroundings. The beef cut like butter and twice baked soufflé was a cheesy dream. Highly recommended for high quality English pub food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. Set in charming village. Will be back again :-)
