The Secret Garden Cafe in North Dorset

Unfortunately the food wasn't great. the service was good from the girls, but when I specifically googled for vegan-food & this place was recommended I was excited to go there. I ordered a lasagne it was gluten free pasta, wanted regular lasagna which turned out to be mashed potatoes with bits of raw tomatoes at at the bottom. When I enquired what it was, the chef was dismissive and told me to pay for it and even said I had eaten some And written gluten-free and you have dug into so was very bland to taste. In the end my lunch was just garlic bread and a sweet potato fries for around £20.

Had an amazing breakfast with my family. P the head of house gave amazing service, very friendly super nice to my 3 year old. Went back the same day for a late lunch and again. Had an amazing time, food is unreal, and staff were amazing. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Great Vegan food & a lovely location sat in the square in the sun . Very accommodating staff too .

This place is amazing. From location to decor to the staff and the decor. It makes such a big change from the drab employee working in some random shop. There is care and pride in the food and the service. The fruit in the breakfast was of very good quality. The eggs were a tad over cooked but does not deter from the home cooked breakfast feel. Will go again

The Secret Garden sits in Hope Square, just off the harbour side in Weymouth. Shadowed by the remains of the old Devenish brewery, a former visitor attraction, the Secret Garden is a lovely Bohemian cafe/bistro.But enough about the ambience.WAFFLES!They do great waffles. They have a wonderful range of toppings, and options to create your own combination. Veggie and vegan options are available.They do other food, which looks good, but you'll probably just want to go for the WAFFLES!

Shame they ran out of food so we could only order drinks and cake.The Victoria Sponge was amazing.

Such a lovely little coffee shop! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had the vegan breakfast and waffles - would 100% recommend! Dog-friendly too which is a bonus!xx

Really really friendly staff with lovely welcoming smiles, and the food is SOOOO good! I have had breakfast there the past 3 days in a row and today im going there for lunch! Everything is vegetarian or vegan and the waffles! Oh my god! The waffles are like a flavour explosion in your mouth and i highly recommend them!There is this one waiter who is very friendly and very pretty, me and my girlfriend both agree hahahaIf your ever in Weymouth you have to come here

Cute little café in a very nice location. Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. We were offered blankets as we were sitting outside and the wind was up! Service was quick, food was tasty: we had the veggie breakfast and the waffles were fabulous! A little gem of a place!
