The pub is waiting for a new Landlady. It is a real tardis. But dont know how they would cope if they got really busy. Only 2 person bar!lots of gsrden sests. Not really suitable for kids.

Lovely little place. For visitors to Blandford it's situated just over the bridge

The Landlord and Landlady where the most welcoming and hospitable any visitor could wish to meet. A most enjoyable visit into a lovely pub, well recommended

Best pizza ever - mushroom, ham and truffle....shared my husbands gluten-free version - and it was fantastic! Great service and good wine too!

Family of 6 in need of sustenance came across this pub by accident. Classic old English pub from the outside turned out to be a fabulous oasis of a garden with differing areas covered and uncovered. Fresh pizzas cooked to order on the menu by the fairly new owners who have done wonders with the social distancing and cleansing. Orders can be made via an app from the tables and are dispensed in great time and good humour. Will definitely return when in the area.

Lovely old pub, I recommend the manwich burger, every good food. Staff very friendly.

When we booked the table we were told to arrive promptly and order quickly due to them always being busy. We arrived early, ordered in a timely manner and the food was extremely slow at arriving, despite there being only on party of two eating and one person sitting at the bar. The fish was over cooked and chips very sparce. Despite that it tasted good. The service was better than OK but not brilliant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I don't quite understand some of the reviews I am reading here. We went to this pub last night and I had The Wareham Burger and It was quite possible the worst burger I have ever eaten from a Pub. It's texture was rubbery and did not taste like beef in the slightest. Very thin, almost like a frozen burger out of a packet. The tables were not set out to eat considering it's a dining area. The service was good though.Such a shame because I remember going here a couple of years ago and it was like I had found a little gem. I will never go here again.Disgusting food.

So so nice. New owners and haven't they done well. The garden is beautiful and the owners so welcoming. They have thought long and hard about how to improve this pub and they have ticked all the boxes. Dog friendly trough. Great choice of bar snacks. A Must visit.
