A country pub with a few comfortable rooms above. The host and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. If you are in the area it's a good choice, good food, good company, what more can you want.

We booked last minute. The staff are all very friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we left our bikes in the garden. Food very nice, we had lunch and evening meal on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday morning, all was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable and the live band was a bonus, Saturday evening. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you to all staff.

Hands down the best bed iv ever slept in whilst staying away. Hands down. Lovely staff, so helpful and nice. The room was amazing and the shower even more so, we didn't eat dinner or breakfast there so I cant comment on that but heard good things from people who have. All together I will be staying here again and have nothing but praise for the place.

Nice pub restaurant with parking for customers at the rear. Access is just round the corner from the museum car park. I thought the food was good and the prices reasonable for what we had. Friendly staff. Would happily eat/drink here again, but mind the step when you go into the gents. I stumbled on it twice.

Beautiful roast dinner, good selection of vegetables, generous amount of meat, very crispy potatoes, plenty of tasty gravy. 10/10.Very clean dining room.Staff were very helpful.Would definitely recommend.
