The White Hart in North Dorset

Nice atmosphere friendly welcome. Food was excellent and the landlady gave us a story about the origins of the dish I chose.

Just had a wonderful Christmas meal at the White Hart Bishop's Caundle: Generous portions, excellent quality, homemade Christmas pud' (from a family recipe), all totally delicious...plus.. service with a smile!! Heartily reccomended.

A great welcome, friendly staff, good food, nice beer and generally a nice atmosphere, dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

Good food, good service and very accommodating. Will adapt the menu for gluten free dietary needs also. Would eat here again if we were passing through.

I would highly recommend this pub , arrived with my disabled wife easy access to the beer garden, friendly landlord who made us very welcome , even took the trouble to give our new puppy a treat.

We really enjoyed our visit here while we were in the area. We loved the roast dinner it was delicious and I loved the landlords very eccentric style. Good ale too!

Food what we had was very good. Usual pub menu but the specials board was a mixture of world cooking. From Spanish cod to Malaysian cuisine. All well cooked, served and presented with a smiling face, albeit with a mask on. Reasonable priced. We all had a different meal and were all extremely happy. Well done.

Enjoyed our visit on Friday. Lovely to relax in the beer garden and enjoy the wonderful view.
