Waitrose Cafe in North Dorset

Well stocked, staff are helpful. Toilets and cafe on site.

Such good service especially from Chris who ensured the meat I ordered was well within date and took the trouble to ring me a few days earlier to reassure me. Really appreciated it!

Waitrose Gillingham customer service. How rude can these two staff ! I returned an items label today as the meat product was off. After showing my phone receipt I was asked why I didn’t bring the item in with me ! Would you take stinking meat in your car ! Waitrose staff used to be polite, no longer - or is Waitrose now issuing instructions not to refund as profits are so low.

Me and my friends were buying items at the self checkout and once we had finished, our other friend(who is black) started to scan his items. 3 members of staff and a security guard gathered round him and just stared at him whilst he was paying. This is disgraceful behaviour from the staff.

Nice food. Shame that when you buy food in the cafe with your my Waitrose card they don't give you a free coffee

Outrageous! Me and my boyfriend entered the store about 15 minutes ago and as soon as we walked in a security guard started following us around. I knew exactly where my item was so I went straight to the back aisle(I got 2 packets of Waitrose own prawn cocktail crisps) and we went straight to a till. By this point we had passed the security man about 5 times. The lady at the till informed us that it would be quicker to go to the till by the tobacco counter. So me and my boyfriend proceeded to take our items there. We paid and we left the store. As soon as we left the security guard went over to the till we paid at and started to talk to the person at the till. I am very disappointed in this Waitrose as I usually love going there. I can say that I am most likely not going there again.I suggest anyone aged 15-18 to not go here as they are very rude.

This is a great store, we recently visited and with us we had our new puppy. I sat outside with the puppy while my wife shopped inside. Whilst waiting a member of staff came out to me and said the staff loved the puppy and presented me with a free bag of dog treats. Now that is customer care at its best.
